Key Responsibilities:

Support, develop, and maintain APIs using

IBM API Connect

and

IBM DataPower Gateway

. Design, develop, and support

REST/SOAP APIs

and microservices-based integrations. Implement and manage API security, lifecycle management, policies, and error handling. Configure and maintain

DataPower services

such as MPGW, WAF, Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall. Handle installation, configuration, backup, and restore of

API Connect, DataPower, and Developer Portal

in standalone and clustered environments. Integrate APIs with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML. Customize and manage

API Developer Portal

and external user registry integrations.

Technical Skills Required:

IBM DataPower Gateway IBM API Connect API Security & Lifecycle Management OpenAPI Specification REST, JSON, XML, XML Schema XPath, XSLT, XQuery Microservices Architecture

Competencies & Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in a team Good communication skills (verbal & written) Organized, proactive, and flexible
