Position Description:

API Gateway Admin – IBM API Connect Production Support

Strong knowledge in working with Web services and API technologies, REST application & Micro service design. Ready to be in production on-call support and work in shifts

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Be a trusted Advisor of the Customer on Integration space.
Work for smooth delivery of assigned projects
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment
Ensure & maximize team s technical capability of IBM product stack .
Be a hands-on person, and deliver. Essentially walk the talk.
Will be involved in product installation/ configurations, trouble shooting (performance, 3rd party integrations, security), deliver class room training etc.
Based on customer requirements, deliver the deployment
Contribute towards development of deployment accelerators, articles and cook books.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Hands on experience on IBM API connect with knowledge on Developer Portal, API Manager & Developer toolkit.
Strong knowledge on setting up plans & managing developer portal.
Experience of security implementations for Mutual Auth, Basic Auth, SSO, SAML, encrypt, decrypt, sign and verify.
Experience in Design multiple services based on different standards for REST, web services, data integration techniques, messaging, and transformation engines and non-standard services (APIs).
Develop and Troubleshoot message translation related issues while communicating with backend (JSON to SOAP / SOAP to JSON).
Understanding HTTP and HTTPS protocols and knowledge on HTTP headers, request/response, XML/JSON data structure, HTTP status codes, GET/POST methods, CRUD operations .
Knowledge of JSON, JWT and JWKS and their underlying specification
Support new service solutions, technologies, systems, applications, hardware changes, configuration and release management
Experience in OAuth 2, API Key Manager.
Experience with XML and related technologies like XPath, XQuery, XSLT, XPath, RegEx etc.
