Hiring for API Functional Testing - HYDERABAD, COIMBATORE
The Test Engineer is responsible for all the testing related activities that happens in the scrum team (test analysis, test design and test execution during ST and SIT phase.) Should have experience with scrum way of working (participates in all the scrum ceremonies like refinement, Daily Stand Ups, sprint review and retrospective). TE should support needed support to project teams during E2E and UAT testing.Should be well versed with Web based Testing and API TestingResponsibilities - 1.Responsible for creating all the test cases which need to be executedgenerating high level test cases (test situations or test ideas) that provide the required test coverage, based on the functional and non-functional requirements.following the necessary guidelines and use of appropriate templates while creating test cases.Preparing test data and setting up of test environment in co-ordinationmaintaining and enhancing test cases following changes in the requirements, architecture, or design.2.Responsible for analyzing and understanding the functional and non-functional requirements provided by the SA(s)Responsible for executing all the test cases, so that all issuesdefects are detected as soon as possible. logging test outcome and reporting of defects found while execution.explaining, refining, and discussing defects during defect triage meetings.following up and retesting the issuesdefects found during test execution regression.updating defects to reflect status.3.Updating the test cases and defects in Jira on time.4.Gain the confidence of stakeholders involved.5.Communicate with the streams needed.6.Strong understanding of STLC Process7.Work Independently and be single point of contact for all the testing activities in the stream.Testing ToolsPostmanOracle AirWatchJira with X-rayInfra-redTechnologiesWeb based TestingAPI TestingResponsible for Test deliverablesCheck for Test CoveragePerform scope analysisSTSIT Test closure ReportAssemble open defectsSupport E2E and UAT phasesRegression Testing
