We are seeking an experienced

API Backend Engineer

with 5 to 7 years of total experience, including 5+ years of relevant expertise, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled developer who can design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. This is a remote, contract position for a project with a minimum duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities

API Development

: Design and develop robust

RESTful APIs

using either

Node.js or Python

. You'll be responsible for creating clean, efficient, and well-documented API endpoints.

Microservices Architecture

: Build and deploy services within a

microservices architecture

. This involves understanding service boundaries, inter-service communication, and maintaining the overall system's health.

Authentication & Security

: Implement and manage strong

authentication and security

protocols to protect data and ensure secure communication between services.

User Management

: Develop and maintain modules for

user management

, including registration, login, profile management, and role-based access control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

: 5 to 7 years of total experience, with

5+ years

of direct experience as an API Backend Engineer.

Primary Skills

: Strong hands-on experience with

RESTful APIs

. Proficiency in

Node.js or Python

. A solid understanding of

Microservices Architecture

. Expertise in implementing

Authentication & Security

protocols. Experience with

User Management

systems.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
