We are seeking a

Senior QA Engineer

experienced in

API Automation testing

for applications with a

.NET backend

and

Angular frontend

. The role involves designing and executing automation frameworks to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability of web-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute API automation test scripts for backend services built on .NET. Validate API endpoints, data flows, and integrations between backend (.NET) and frontend (Angular) layers. Collaborate with development teams to understand technical specifications and business logic. Integrate API automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Analyze failures, perform root-cause analysis, and document issues in tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for backend and integration workflows. Support manual verification as needed during development or release cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, focusing on API automation testing. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods. Proficiency in Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent API testing tools. Solid hands-on experience with Python, C#, or Java for automation scripting. Working knowledge of .NET frameworks and Angular applications. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodology.

Good to Have:

SQL knowledge for backend validation. Experience testing microservices or cloud-based APIs (Azure / AWS). Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Pay: ₹308,444.52 - ₹1,451,792.20 per year
