Job Description

Experience:




8+ years of experience in API testing and test automation.




Hands-on experience with RESTful API testing.




Proven experience in API automation frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or similar tools).




Technical Skills:




Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing test scripts and building automation frameworks.




Strong understanding of API technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, GraphQL).




Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for integrating automated tests into the pipeline.




Familiarity with version control systems like Git.




Knowledge of JSON and XML for working with API responses.




Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.




Testing Tools & Techniques:




Strong experience using Postman or RestAssured for API automation.




Understanding of API security testing, including authentication and authorization mechanisms like OAuth, JWT, etc.




Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.


API Test Automation: Develop and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs and microservices using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.


Test Strategy: Design, implement, and maintain automated test strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing of APIs.


Integration with CI/CD: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.


Test Framework Development: Build and enhance robust test frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript to automate API tests efficiently.


Test Execution & Reporting: Run automated test cases, document results, and track defects using test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
