Minimum?5+ years of hands-on experience?in?Quality Assurance and Testing Strong expertise in?API Automation Testing?and?Java Scripting Proficiency with?Selenium?for automation testing Experience with?REST API testing tools?like?Postman?for manual testing and?Rest Assured?or?Karate?for automation Solid understanding and working knowledge of?BDD frameworks?like?Cucumber Good knowledge of?SQL?and hands-on experience with?MySQL Familiarity with?MongoDB,?JSON queries, and?DB concepts Ability to?design and build automation frameworks?from scratch Proven ability to write and execute scripts using REST APIs Effective communication skills and ability to?independently manage multiple work streams
Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain?automated test scripts?for APIs using Java and relevant frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to?understand requirements and implement testing strategies Enhance and maintain automation frameworks?ensuring scalability and reusability Perform?manual and automated API testing?to ensure high product quality Develop and maintain?test cases, test plans, and comprehensive documentation Execute?BDD-based test scenarios?using Cucumber and integrate with CI/CD pipelines Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues Conduct?database validation?using SQL and MongoDB to ensure data integrity Participate in?code reviews, defect triage meetings, and provide test status updates Ensure that testing practices are aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals
