Minimum
5+ years of hands-on experience
in
Quality Assurance and Testing Strong expertise in
API Automation Testing
and
Java Scripting Proficiency with
Selenium
for automation testing Experience with
REST API testing tools
like
Postman
for manual testing and
Rest Assured
or
Karate
for automation Solid understanding and working knowledge of
BDD frameworks
like
Cucumber Good knowledge of
SQL
and hands-on experience with
MySQL Familiarity with
MongoDB,
JSON queries, and
DB concepts Ability to
design and build automation frameworks
from scratch Proven ability to write and execute scripts using REST APIs Effective communication skills and ability to
independently manage multiple work streams
Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
automated test scripts
for APIs using Java and relevant frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
understand requirements and implement testing strategies Enhance and maintain automation frameworks
ensuring scalability and reusability Perform
manual and automated API testing
to ensure high product quality Develop and maintain
test cases, test plans, and comprehensive documentation Execute
BDD-based test scenarios
using Cucumber and integrate with CI/CD pipelines Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues Conduct
database validation
using SQL and MongoDB to ensure data integrity Participate in
code reviews, defect triage meetings, and provide test status updates Ensure that testing practices are aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals
