Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Apache Tomcat servers.

Deploy and manage Java web applications (WAR files).

Monitor server performance, logs, and metrics to ensure uptime and responsiveness.

Troubleshoot application and server-level issues (JVM crashes, memory leaks, etc.).

Configure and manage SSL certificates and secure communication.

Set up clustering and load balancing for high availability (e.g., with Apache HTTPD or Nginx).

Work with development and QA teams to support deployments and test environments.

Automate deployment and configuration using scripts or CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).

Ensure compliance with security policies and perform vulnerability mitigation.

Maintain proper documentation and change management records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience with Apache Tomcat (version 8.x, 9.x, or newer).

Solid understanding of Java EE applications and the JVM.

Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

Familiarity with web servers (Apache HTTPD, Nginx) and reverse proxy setups.

Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).

Hands-on experience with SSL/TLS, keystores, and certificate management.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
