Job Requisition ID #25WD88042Position OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Compliance Counsel to join Autodeskxe2x80x99s Legal Compliance team to help build, scale, and maintain a practical and effective compliance program. As the only member of the Compliance team to sit in Asia, you will be responsible for building relationships across Autodeskxe2x80x99s APACxe2x80x99s offices and directing ethics & compliance efforts in that area. You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure on-going compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies; manage investigations into allegations of noncompliance; and help design and deliver employee training programs, new policy initiatives, and business guidance. This position will report to Autodeskxe2x80x99s Senior Director of Ethics & Compliance.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for the Ethics & Compliance team in APACProvide subject-matter expertise and day-to-day legal advice on ethics and compliance matters, including anticorruption, conflicts of interest, competition law, and trade compliance, and related Autodesk policiesAssess the impact of emerging risks and compliance regulations on business operationsAssist in developing and implementing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance with global laws; work with business units to ensure their effective enforcementBe primarily responsible for anticorruption procedures in APAC, including third party due diligence, gifts and entertainment requests, and potential conflicts of interestsCreate and deploy fresh and creative regional compliance education programsInvestigate allegations of noncompliance and help drive remedial and preventative action as necessarySupport the coordination of compliance auditsWork collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including legal colleagues, senior management, Government Affairs, Human Resources, and Audit & Advisory Services, to implement and enhance Autodeskxe2x80x99s Legal Compliance ProgramsMinimum QualificationsA minimum of 8 yearsxe2x80x99 experience focused on legal compliance in APAC regions, including India, ASEAN, China, and KoreaSignificant experience in building and implementing an effective compliance program, including conducting risk assessments and developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and trainingsExperience with governance, risk, and compliance technologies and tools and a willingness to learn new toolsExperience conducting business and compliance due diligence and conflict of interest reviewsExperience conducting regulatory and/or internal investigationsA self-motivated professional with a relentless drive for excellence. Continuously seeking to improve, learn, and contribute to the organizationxe2x80x99s successDetail-oriented with strong analytical, process, and problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to risk managementWillingness to work outside of normal business hours to collaborate with colleagues based around the worldExceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization, from individual contributor to executiveHighly team-oriented; an open mind; and the ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadline pressureLaw Degree from an accredited University, with good academic credentialsPreferred QualificationsCombination of both law firm and in-house experience at a multinational corporationExperience in the software industry is desirable as is a willingness to travel occasionallyFluency in multiple languages due to APAC scope#LI-AV1Learn MoreAbout Autodesk
