We are looking for a creative individual with excellent Supply Chain understanding of agriculture environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Seed supply chain strategies and key focus areas in line with global and regional strategy. Communicate and implement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Production) to provide latest information and escalate risks.
- Line management responsibility for diverse team across multiple locations. Ensure team role clarity and right structure to support the organization. Develop and mentor talent.
- Ensure accurate planning decisions are made with cross-functional alignment.
- Regional point of escalation for all Supply Chain related matters. Key member of Regional Seeds Operations Leadership team.
- Represent Seeds Production and Supply Chain functions in Regional IBP processes (DR, IR). Ensure that the right information is shared and considered in decision making.
- Own forecasting and actuals tracking of supply chain related financial components (Inventory Levels, Inventory Write down, Distribution Expense). Ensure consistent process is followed in all countries.
- Drive improvement in cost in all elements of supply chain. Identify projects and track implementation.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Leadership experience in Supply Chain roles in a multinational, matrixed organization
- Work experience from Seed Industry will be an added advantage
- Analytical, flexible, and conceptual way of thinking
- Ability to interact and influence effectively across functions.
- Good financial acumen to be able to understand own and explain budgets and forecast.
