Summary:

The APAC Reg Reporting Cluster Lead is a senior techno-functional manager position. The incumbent will be responsible for program management and delivery of various regulatory and O&T reporting projects across multiple APAC countries and will supplement global Citi\xe2\x80\x99s Regulatory Reporting function. Person will actively engage with country business, development teams and other global stake holders to ensure that the implementations meet all requirements and controls. This role also includes talent development and management of India-based personnel involved in APAC reg reporting space.

Responsibilities of this role includes (and not limited to)

• Lead the engagement with Business partners, Centralised Controllers team and FRD Business analysts to finalize the data and reporting requirements for each Local regulatory report in the respective country.
• Lead the engagement with Global technical counterparts to acquire the required Critical data elements for Reporting.
• Engage with Business partners, Chief of staff and Senior management to finalize the budget requirements in the area.
• Lead development of ETL programs in harmony with enterprise business ontologies for reporting systems.
• Lead ETL, data processing and control reports development to support Local regulatory requirements in adherence with CITI standards.
• Ongoing maintenance, enhancement and support of the regulatory reports and data required for reporting.
• Co-ordinate and influence stakeholders, team members towards following industry/Citi wide best practices of data architecture, modeling and governance
• Continuous Spent Vs forecast review of the Financials in each country.
• Maintain a clean Risk and Control dashboard in the area.
• Enhance SDLC for team deliverables for continuous improvement and adoption of Agile.
• Talent development processes around the entire team in terms of training, appraisals and mentoring
• Manage/guide vendor teams and Shanghai team to help with the deliverables related to Local Regulatory reports

This role is needed to create a synergy between different teams working from India for Local Regulatory reporting, as well as reduce the issues due to dependency on global managers.

Qualifications:

• 15 or more years of experience in Technology
• 10 or more years of experience in Application Management and Project Delivery.
• 5 or more years of experience in Financial Services (preferably banking) with focus on Finance, Risk, and/or Regulatory Reporting
• 7 or more years of complete system development life cycle experience with complex data integration solutions using relational and/or cloud data platforms.
• 3 or more years of experience in a lead role
• Domain expertise in banking products such as deposits, loans, securities, derivatives, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently under strict deadlines.
• Experience with ETL tools like AbInitio, Spark, Talend etc
