We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.
In this role, you will:
Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform focussed on supporting Tooling deployment
Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement in a large Ansible managed Linux estate
Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews
Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents
Consultation on customer code development
Support new OS versions development, deployment and configuration
Support deployment and configuration of new, and upgrades to existing estate management tools
Qualifications - External
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Highly experienced in Automation technologies - Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform
Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable
Experience of Package management - creating and understanding rpms
Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable
Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines
Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
