We are looking for a talented Character Designer and Illustrator who specializes in manga and anime styles. The ideal candidate can create compelling character designs, arrange comic panels, and deliver clean black-and-white illustrations that capture the essence of our stories.
Key Responsibilities:
Design original characters, including expressions, outfits, and poses.
Create manga-style panels with proper storytelling flow and composition.
Produce clean black-and-white illustrations, including backgrounds, props, and settings.
Adapt designs to fit the tone and style of the project.
Collaborate with writers and other team members to bring stories to life.
Maintain consistency in character designs and visual style across multiple pages or scenes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of manga and anime aesthetics.
Expertise in character design, paneling, and storytelling.
Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Procreate).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail in line work, composition, and overall design.
Portfolio showcasing manga/anime character designs and illustrations.
Preferred:
Experience in comic/manga book production.
Knowledge of black-and-white inking and shading techniques.
Ability to create expressive and dynamic character poses.
