Must be

local to Bhandup West or nearby

(commutable). Preference for candidates who speak

Marathi, Hindi, and/or local languages

. Physically fit, able to handle dogs (including stray/rescued animals) safely.
Qualifications

Minimum education: 10th pass (or equivalent). Previous experience in handling dogs is a plus, but freshers with good temperament and willingness to learn may also apply. Kindness, patience, and empathy towards animals.
Roles & Responsibilities

AreaTasks

Animal Handling & CareAssist veterinary staff in handling dogs during treatment (checking wounds, administering medicines, vaccinations, basic first?aid).Field WorkHelp in rescue, cleaning, feeding, and transport of dogs (as required) under supervision.Shelter / Hospital SupportClean animal enclosures, maintain hygiene of wards, kennel maintenance. Assist in bathing, grooming, feeding, giving water.Preventive HealthAssist in sterilization camps, vaccination drives and follow?ups under veterinarian direction.Monitoring & ReportingObserve animal behavior, health conditions (e.g. signs of illness), report to supervisor. Maintain basic daily records of assigned dogs (feeding, medications).Safety & WelfareEnsure safety of animals and self. Use protective gear when required. Follow organizational SOPs with respect to animal handling, restraint, etc.Skills & Attributes

Calm demeanor around animals, especially dogs that may be fearful/aggressive. Physically able to lift, restrain dogs, move heavy objects (e.g. kennels, cages). Basic understanding of dog behavior. Good communication skills to work with veterinary team and support staff. Reliable, punctual, disciplined.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
