Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Preparation

: Set up, check, and calibrate anesthesia machines, monitors (ECG, BP, O2), and airway devices (tubes, masks).

Procedural Assistance

: Help anesthesiologists with patient prep, positioning, placing IVs, and managing airways during surgery.

Patient Monitoring

: Closely monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the anesthesia provider.

Maintenance & Sterilization

: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize all anesthesia equipment and instruments according to hospital standards.

Inventory Management

: Stock anesthesia carts, manage supply levels, and track expired items.

Documentation

: Maintain accurate records of equipment, procedures, and patient information.

Emergency Support

: Provide immediate support during emergencies, ensuring equipment is ready.
Core Duties:

Ensuring all anesthesia equipment is functional and ready for use. Assisting with patient transport and comfort. Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Maintaining sterile fields and compliance with safety protocols.
