Job Description

Anesthesia technicians support anesthesiologists by preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting anesthesia machines and equipment, setting up monitoring devices (ECG, BP, SpO2), stocking supplies, ensuring sterility, and assisting during procedures by managing airways, establishing IV access, and monitoring patient vitals under supervision, ultimately ensuring a safe environment for patients receiving anesthesia. Key Responsibilities

Equipment Management:

Assemble, calibrate, clean, sterilize, and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, carts, and related devices (ventilators, infusion pumps).

Patient Preparation:

Set up monitoring equipment, prepare IVs, manage drug carts, and assist with patient positioning and airway devices (like laryngeal masks).

Intraoperative Assistance:

Support the anesthesia provider by managing equipment, monitoring patient vitals (ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation), and assisting with emergency interventions.

Supply & Inventory:

Manage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all necessary drugs and disposables are available.

Patient Care:

Comfort conscious patients, assist with emergence from anesthesia, and help transfer patients to recovery.

Documentation:

Maintain records of equipment maintenance, inspections, and supplies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
