About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on the design and implementation of software applications for different mobile devices such as Android/iOS
2. Design and develop new features and/or maintain existing applications
3. Work on Android and iOS build process and deployment

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 8th Sep'22 and 13th Oct'22

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Chennai and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Knowledge about Native Android with Java or Kotlin

2. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

4. Experience in developing mobile apps

5. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

6. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

7. In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK Framework

8. Excellent knowledge of Android application maintenance and upgrade

9. Knowledge of mobile application testing

10. Experience with multi-threaded applications and good exposure to Android Studio

11. Excellent verbal & written communication skills

12. At least a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or other related fields

13. An analytical mind in addition to a problem-solving attitude

14. Knowledge of hybrid mobile app development (React Native, Ionic with Angular, Xamarin app development) and Crystal Report
