About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented

Android Developer

who has hands-on experience building high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of native Android development, a deep understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using

Kotlin/Java

. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless app experiences. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality. Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and stability across a range of devices. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and fix bugs, optimize application performance, and implement enhancements. Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions. Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, libraries, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum

2+ years

of hands-on experience in Android app development. Strong proficiency in

Kotlin and/or Java

. Solid understanding of

Android SDK

, Android Jetpack, and modern app architectures (MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture). Experience working with

REST APIs

, JSON/XML, SQLite/Room database. Knowledge of version control tools such as

Git / GitHub / Bitbucket

. Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle. Good grasp of UI/UX standards and ability to build intuitive interfaces. Experience with

Firebase

, Push Notifications, Crashlytics, Analytics is a plus. Familiarity with

Agile/Scrum

methodology.

Good to Have

Experience with

Jetpack Compose

. Knowledge of

CI/CD pipelines

for mobile deployment. Exposure to

material design principles

and animation frameworks. Published apps on Play Store is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
