Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Follow best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven software development experience and Android skills development. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Firebase). Knowledge of modern architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and mobile testing frameworks. Knowledge of Google Play Console and app deployment process. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
