Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Android Developer

with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in building Android applications using

Java

. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes and APIs. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Follow clean code principles and participate in code reviews. Integrate third-party APIs and libraries as needed. Maintain documentation and support the app through its lifecycle.

Requirements:

2 to 3 years

of proven experience in Android development using Java. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. Familiarity with tools like Android Studio, Gradle, and Git. Knowledge of Android architecture components like ViewModel, LiveData, and Room (bonus). Understanding of version control systems like Git. Experience with Firebase, Google Maps, or third-party libraries is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and issue tracking tools like Jira.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
