About Docyt
Docyt is a business automation platform that leverages AI to simplify document management, accounting, and financial operations. Our Android app helps businesses manage workflows, automate expenses, and access real-time financial insights on the go.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features in Docyt's Android application.
• Implement intuitive and responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose and traditional Android Views.
• Integrate with REST APIs, AWS services, and Firebase.
• Work on modules such as document scanning, banking integration, expense reporting, and real-time chat.
• Write and maintain unit and UI tests to ensure high-quality code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, design, and backend to deliver robust features.

Requirements
Required Skills

• 2-3 years of Android development experience.
• Strong command of Kotlin and working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Jetpack libraries (Compose, Navigation, CameraX, Room, ViewModel, LiveData).
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture, Repository pattern, and Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt with KSP).
• Proficiency with Retrofit, OkHttp, and JSON parsing.
• Hands-on experience writing tests using JUnit, Espresso, MockK, and Robolectric.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Experience in multi-module projects and Material Design principles.
• Experience working with third-party messaging libraries like SendBird or Faye Chat Client would be a plus.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like Cursor IDE or GitHub Copilot is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
