Android Developer

Location - Hyderabad/Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop native Android applications using modern Android frameworks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Ensure app performance, quality, security, and responsiveness

Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs

Implement clean architecture, MVVM/MVI, and best coding practices

Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure application reliability

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes

Required Skills

Strong experience in Android app development

Proficiency in Kotlin (Java is a plus)

Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack components

Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp)

Knowledge of Material Design guidelines

Understanding of version control systems (Git)

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

Good to Have

Experience with Jetpack Compose

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps

Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, analytics

Experience working with performance optimization and security best practices

Experience in enterprise or large-scale applications
