Role Overview

We are seeking an Android Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our

fast-growing team at Tummoc. This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate

about building seamless, high-performance Android applications and delivering exceptional

user experiences.

You will work closely with the product, design, and backend teams to develop and

enhance the Tummoc app, contributing to key features, performance improvements, and

innovation that help shape how users interact with public transport solutions across India.

Key Responsibilities

? Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

? Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code while adhering to industry standards.

? Debug and resolve issues, ensuring application stability and reliability.

? Stay updated on the latest Android development trends, tools, and frameworks.

? Strong communication and collaboration skills.

? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Skills And Qualifications

? Expertise in Android Kotlin framework

? Develop and maintain services and background processes for seamless application functionality.

? Implement and manage inter-process communication using AIDL.

? Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and data binding for writing clean, testable, and

maintainable code.

? Experience designing layouts with XML and Jetpack Compose

? Experience working with features like NFC, Bluetooth, GPS/location tracking

? Good understanding of Android security implementation

? Leverage your experience with Coroutines to handle asynchronous operations and create responsive

user experiences.

? Solid knowledge of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.

? Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) for unit and integration

testing.

? Experience with offline storage (e.g., SQLite, Room Database).

? Experience working with RESTful APIs, FCM/GCM notifications.

? Knowledge of Dependency Injection.

? Experience with Version control systems like Git, SVN, etc.

? Familiarity with integrating native SDKs and third-party libraries.

? Good to have knowledge of printer SDKs integration
