Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using

Kotlin

and

Jetpack Compose

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Work with APIs, RESTful services, and third-party integrations. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills and Experience:

3-5 years

of experience in Android app development.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Advanced)

-- including coroutines, flows, and functional programming concepts.

Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose

for building modern UI components. Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.), and app lifecycle. Experience with

MVVM

,

Clean Architecture

, or similar design patterns. Knowledge of version control systems like

Git

. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment on the Play Store. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have:

Experience in OTT platform is preferred. Experience with

Dependency Injection frameworks

(e.g., Hilt, Dagger). Exposure to

unit testing

and

UI testing

(JUnit, Espresso). Understanding of performance optimization and app analytics tools. Knowledge of

Compose Navigation

and

Material Design 3

principles.
