Role and responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin or Java. Integrate mobile apps with backend RESTful APIs: implement secure login, data fetch, form submission and other workflows. Implement screens, forms, lists and navigation flows ensuring good UX, responsiveness and accessibility on a variety of Android devices. Handle offline scenarios: local caching/storage, retry logic and graceful behaviour on poor or no connectivity. Implement push notifications, background tasks and secure session management. Collaborate with backend/PHP developers on API contracts, testing and performance optimization. Support app testing, bug fixing, release builds and deployment to internal distribution or Play Store as required.

Technical skills (must have)

3-5 years hands?on experience in native Android development (Kotlin or Java). Strong experience consuming RESTful APIs using Retrofit/OkHttp/Volley (any one), with solid JSON parsing and error handling. Good understanding of Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room/SQLite, WorkManager/Services). Solid skills in Android UI development (XML layouts, RecyclerView/ListView, Material Design components, themes and styles). Knowledge of runtime permissions, multiple screen sizes/densities and OS version compatibility. Familiarity with Git and standard Android debugging/profiling tools.

Technical skills (good to have)

Experience building apps for government, enterprise or other security?sensitive domains. Experience with push notifications (FCM), deep links and basic analytics integration. Awareness of Android security best practices (secure storage, avoiding sensitive logs, basic network security).

Qualifications and other requirements

BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/IT.? 3-5 years relevant Android development experience.? Ability to work full?time onsite in New Delhi and collaborate closely with backend and stakeholder teams.?

Pay: ?420,000.00 - ?540,000.00 per year
