We are Sham Foam Ltd, a growing brand in the [industry: sleep and home comfort] . We're looking for a skilled Android Developer who can help us build smooth, user-friendly mobile applications that enhance our customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Fix bugs and improve app performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Work with APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud-based services.
Requirements:
1-3 years of proven experience as an Android Developer (Java/Kotlin).
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Understanding of design principles, UI/UX, and best practices.
Knowledge of Git or similar version control tools.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Good to Have:
Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Understanding of Firebase, Google Maps, or payment gateway integration.
Published apps on the Play Store.
