ANCHOR/PROGRAM PRESENTER - Political Campaign

Role Overview

At Demos Project,

we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Anchor to travel with our political campaign team across Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be confident in public, skilled in engaging a diverse audience, and capable of presenting campaign messages with clarity, energy, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary anchor for

campaign events, public meetings,

and outreach programs across Tamil Nadu Manage the event flow and maintain audience engagement throughout Deliver

campaign narratives, speak in a relatable

and

impactful

manner Collaborate with the communications team to refine scripts, ensure message consistency, and adapt the tone for different regions Work closely with field teams to manage event timing, transitions and crowd engagement

Hosting interviews

and

short videos

as required Maintain a professional presence representing the campaign at all public events Travel extensively across Tamil Nadu as per the campaign schedule

Required Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as an anchor, host, emcee, or public presenter (political/TV/event experience preferred).

Exceptional communication, stage presence and spontaneity (Tamil fluency mandatory). Strong improvisation ability and confidence in handling live audiences. Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure campaign environments. Good understanding of

Tamil Nadu's political and cultural landscape

(added advantage).

Team-oriented mindset with flexibility in working hours and travel.

Compensation

o Competitive, based on experience and industry standards. Accommodation and other allowances will be provided.

Work Environment and Expectations

Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu, often at short notice. Comfortable working late hours and weekends during peak campaign activity. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-intensity, and feedback-driven environment. Commitment to confidentiality, discipline, and political sensitivity in all tasks.
