About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working and playing an important part in the creative cycle of news broadcasting
2. Working with the news reporters to gather information, broadcast news, and interview guests
3. Presenting the news stories, and national and international current events to the audience in an interesting and unbiased manner
4. Researching the local community, national, state, and international current affairs
5. Meeting up with the reporters, news directors, and fellow news anchors to be briefed on the routine news
6. Collaborating with the news directors to pick the right stories that should be broadcasted daily considering the audience's preferences
7. Organizing the breaking news in a way that presents the most interesting aspects first
8. Revising scripts and preparing them well to be delivered live
9. Interviewing guests and other members
10. Introducing the news correspondents that are reporting on the scene and asking them relevant questions
11. Complying with the moral code of the journalistic profession
