News Anchor
with a strong on-camera presence and passion for delivering engaging news stories.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in anchoring, journalism, or media presentation, excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to present news content in both Hindi and English with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Research, fact-check, and script engaging news content aligned with editorial guidelines.
Edit news scripts and present them effectively in your own words.
Present live and recorded news bulletins professionally.
Conduct interviews and on-field reporting when required.
Operate comfortably in front of the teleprompter and camera.
Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC) or equivalent.
Experience:
1-2 years in anchoring, reporting, or news presentation.
Languages:
Proficient in Hindi & English.
Strong on-camera confidence and clear articulation.
Preferred Attributes:
Strong knowledge of current affairs, politics, sports, entertainment, and international news.
Understanding of digital and social media news trends.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
