Typical and Duties:
Maintenance and Calibration:
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as scheduled calibration of analyzers and gas chromatographs to ensure accurate measurements.
Installation and Commissioning:
Install, commission, and test new analyzers, including wiring, mechanical assembly, and loop/function checks.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose faults in analyzer systems, repair electronic circuits, printed circuit boards, sample systems (tubing, valves, fittings), and restore analyzers to operational status.
Technical Documentation:
Update maintenance logs, drawings, procedures, and technical reports after work completion.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures, and help maintain environmental and operational compliance through accurate analyzer operation.
Team Coordination:
May direct junior technicians or fitters, assist in training, plan spare part requirements, and participate in maintenance team meetings.
Specialized Equipment:
Work with various analyzers such as oxygen, H2S, CO2, SO2, moisture, total sulfur, and field/process chromatographs, as well as associated instrumentation (transmitters, detectors, sample probes).
