Job Overview Lead a team of talented analytics resources (BI analysts and data engineers). Develop a high performing culture where team members have strong accountability and are motivated to consistently delivering high quality deliverables within timeline. Dive deep into technical solutions to provide technical guidance to team members to troubleshoot issues and/or build high performing analytics solutions. Partner with demand owners to understand and scope out analytics use cases with a clear line of sight to value creation. Drive adherence to Analytics Operating Model for identifying and prioritizing analytics use cases, and best practices published by the Analytics COE architects to leverage reference architecture to build high performance solutions. Hire, develop, and retain analytics talent. Ensure that team members have a clear understanding of their analytics career path at TE. Work with team members to achieve their career aspirations. Provide regular updates to Channel BU and Analytics COE leadership on the progress and success stories of the analytics solutions delivered by the team. What your background should look like: 6 + years as a technical individual contributor developing high performing BI analytics solutions or 2+ years as a team lead managing an analytics team 3+ years of hands-on experience in SQL RDBNS design and query building skills (Oracle, SQL, or AWS Redshift) 2+ years of hands-on experience in visualization tool, preferrable Tableau 2-3 years in business knowledge - channel distribution, sales, and/or supply chain Strong analysis skills and good understanding of analytics (BI & AI/ML) Competencies Building Effective Teams Motivating Others Managing and Measuring Work Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
