Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Analytical Laboratory Chemist with strong hands-on expertise in HPLC, GC-GC-Headspace (GC-Headspace), UV analysis, TLC, and general physical testing of herbal extracts and nutraceutical products. The candidate must be well-versed in instrument calibration, stability studies, AMV-related documentation, and GLP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and advanced analysis using HPLC, GC-MS, UV-Vis, and TLC. Conduct physical and chemical tests: pH, LOD/moisture, ash, solubility, and appearance. Manage calibration of instruments, including HPLC, GC-MS, analytical balance, pH meter, and UV-Vis. Handle stability studies--sample pull-outs, testing, documentation, and timely reporting. Manage working standards, reference materials, reagent records, and inventory. Maintain accurate documentation: logbooks, chromatograms, analytical reports, and calibration records. Follow GLP, SOPs, and QMS requirements strictly. Support Analytical Method Validation (AMV) activities and prepare related documentation. Identify and troubleshoot critical issues related to HPLC, GC-MS, UV, and TLC.

Qualifications:

B.Sc./M.Sc./M.Pharma in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Phytochemistry/Medicinal Chemistry, or related field. 2-5 years of QC/analytical experience (herbal, nutraceutical, or pharma preferred). Strong practical skills in HPLC & GC-HS operation, troubleshooting, and method handling. Knowledge of AMV, stability testing protocols, and chromatographic interpretation. Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with GLP.
