The Risk Solutions development team is focused on the creation of risk and finance related applications across the Banking and Insurance sectors. As a valued member of this dynamic team you will be on the crossroads between:

• the creation and ongoing support of the regulatory contents for various Risk Solutions,
• supporting SAS customers in several countries to ensure that they can make best use of our risk products,
• supporting SAS field teams in achieving customer success by providing techno-functional expertise in Risk Management and Finance.

What you’ll do

The role is based in the Pune R&D Center, at SAS R&D Pune facility. As a Research Statistician Developer, you will contribute in development of Risk solutions. You will be involved in planning and design work and will take responsibility to develop large parts of the application. Furthermore, you will be joining a friendly team with a broad range of experience, to develop cloud-based Solutions.

You will:

• 
  Get things done well!
• Provide expertise in application of AI/ML for solving business problems in the domain of risk and finance
• Contribute to product deliveries by collaboration with subject matter experts and peers
• Define scope, schedule of tasks related to solution IP development; track progress of individual tasks, take corrective actions and alert stakeholders of anticipated issues
• Dive into code, trouble shoot issues
• No / limited domestic and international travel as business demands

Requirement

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on exposure to application of AI/ML to solve real world business problems
• Conceptual clarity of AI/ML techniques
• Proficiency in SAS, Python analytics libraries, R or equivalent analytics tools

Nice to haves

• Exposure to AI/ML model life cycle stages esp Model validation and Model Performance Monitoring
• Exposure to Banking domain is preferred
• Exposure to Agile software development cycle

Education - Bachelors or Masters degree in statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, or a related field
5-7 Years of relevant experience

Nice to have
Professional certification in AI/ML
