The Analytical and Materials Chemist will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and performance of materials. This role involves advanced chemical analysis, materials characterization, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
:
Perform analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Characterize materials using techniques like NMR, FTIR, GC-MS, TGA, DSC, and others.
Develop and validate analytical methods for new products and formulations.
Investigate and solve issues related to material properties and quality.
Collaborate with the Applications and Process Engineer to optimize product performance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality protocols.
Document and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
:
Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with advanced analytical instrumentation.
Strong understanding of structure-property relationships in materials.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
