Job Overview The Analyst - Tableau shall be responsible for designing, creating, publishing, and maintaining Tableau Reports and Dashboards. This role shall primarily focus on FSS reports and exposed to reports & dashboard of other functions as required. The candidate shall also periodically update data stored on the servers of various sources where manual intervention is required. He/She shall also be required to provide data and extracts of reports on ad-hoc basis. They should be able to design, create, publish, and maintain Tableau Reports and Dashboards along with maintaining sanitation check periodically. The Data Analyst shall work with teams to be able to provide data as well as interpretation of the data for analysis and projects. This job requires following capabilities to be successful - - Expert Level Reports & Dashboard creation in Tableau Desktop & Server - In-depth knowledge and a sound understanding of RDBMS systems, SQL, Business Intelligence, and data analytics. - Proficiency in analytics and database querying tools - Able to build visually stunning and interactive dashboards. - Expert in MS Office specially in MS Excel - Knowledge of Google Big Query - Good analytical skills as well as knowledge of data structures and storage - High degree of accuracy and timeliness since there may be business impact in case of delayed reporting. - Knowledge of design principles and quality processes - Understand and transform client expectations into technical requirement. - Knowledge of code integration and languages like R and Python - Knowledge of DevOps and basic project development lifecycle - Technical knowledge of Tableau Products and various versions - Clear and effective communication skills since s/he is required to interact with multiple users and stakeholders. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Basic understanding of accounting processes, like, Accounts Payable/General Ledger/Accounts Receivables, etc. Job Responsibilities 80% of Time Operational Responsibilities . Daily - o Responsible for Developing, creating, Publishing and Maintaining Tableau Dashboards and Reports for GSDO and other departments. o Responsible for updating data to manual databases. o Maintain and manage existing tableau reports and publish the reports as per given timelines. o Drilling down of data and preparation of reports with accuracy o Manage Ad-Hoc data requests from stakeholders and provide meaningful insights from data sets as required. o Perform and provide data analysis based on data from various sources with inferences. o Test and publish dashboards and reports and schedule refresh. . Monthly - o Updating Monthly Tableau Dashboards for FSS as well as other departments as per timelines 10% of Time Additional deliverables o Understand other reporting schedules and data structures within FSS. o Expand knowledge & skillset on tableau reports for various functions in FSS. o Co-ordinate with GSS teams and IT team for technical issues related to Tableau reporting and dashboards 10% of Time Ad-Hoc Requests - o Need based involvement in projects across FSS Functions o Ad-Hoc data request & analysis request for Projects o Collaborate with FSS teams for various task activities.
