Background: We are pioneering a private equity fund focused on combating climate change across Asia. Our mission involves mobilizing capital and investing in sectors crucial for energy transition, e-mobility, sustainable agriculture, environmental resources, circular economy, and more. Employment Type: Full-time, currently remote with potential for on-site in Gurgaon in the future. Currently a contractual role with a regular stipend and based on performance can be converted to an employment relationship. Expected Duration: 6-12 months (extendable) Job Responsibilities Research: Conduct thorough research on climate investing landscape and private equity sector dynamics. Investment Evaluation: Participate in fund investment through evaluation of investment opportunities, financial modelling, developing recommendations and investment committee memos, conducting due diligence and concluding transactions Fundraising Support: Assist in fundraising activities by providing valuable insights and data. Fund Formation: Collaborate on documentation and liaise with legal teams, advisors, and regulators during the fund formation process. Stakeholder Management: Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders to foster platform growth and coordinate various initiatives. Initiative Ownership: Take ownership of associated initiatives aimed at supporting the fund\'s objectives. Requirements Financial Modeling and Valuation: Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. Climate Change Interest: Interest in addressing climate change through investment strategies. Background: Interest and background in investing, funds, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, startups, consulting, or chartered accountancy. Corporate Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in MS Office suite. Educational Background: Graduation or above in finance, economics, accounts, or related fields. Eagerness to Learn: Proactive attitude towards learning and willingness to explore new work streams.
