The Role The Unix Services will be responsible for the Service Operations, Service Governance, Projects in Unix Technologies. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the Unix SrAnalyst need to apply technical expertise, ITIL Process

The Role The Unix Services will be responsible for the Service Operations, Service Governance, Projects in Unix Technologies. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the Unix SrAnalyst need to apply technical expertise, ITIL Process knowledge, Project Management and Service Management skills to keep Unix Services with high availability, stability and less interruptions to the servers. Unix SrAnalyst need to work with Vendor & Partner resources, TOLL Resources in GDC/Infrastructure and Application team to resolve Unix issues in timely manner. As Unix Analyst, you will : Operations of Unix Services including Incident, Change, Major Incident, Problem Management. Ensure incidents are resolved in timely manner. No backlog or aging incidents. Root Cause Analysis for P1/P2 incidents and submission of RCA document and completion of CAPA as per RCA. Onboard / Offboard Unix Engineer as per demand and get newly added Unix member with knowledge transition. Get services done through Vendor and Partner resources.Measure Service performance of Vendor resources.Highlight Risks / Issues and mitigation plan. Follow through the plan. Ensure Hardware / Software and Other Support available for Unix Servers.Manage various Unix environment including Solaris, Linux About you: To Be successful in this role, you will need : At least 8-10 Years of Experience in IT industry. Minimum 3 Years of Experience as Unix Team Leader Certification: Technology Certifications in Solaris, Linux, Oracle May require working outside normal business hours as and when required to meet deadlines. Strong knowledge of Unix Platforms - Physical, VirtualStrong knowledge of Unix Platforms - Standalone, OVM, T4, T8 Clusters Strong Knowledge of scripting/automation - bash, ksh. Knowledge of all Unix Platforms - Solaris, RedHat Linux, AIXKnowledge of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Clustering, Load Balancing. Strong knowledge of On Premises Platforms, Private Cloud and Public Cloud.
