Role Summary
Functional Responsibility / Domain Related
- Take complete responsibility for client delivery - quality, timeliness and completeness
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency and output.
- Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor and ensure smooth running of the operations.
- Ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures of the organization
- Leverage Data Science and Automation tools to create an integrated system that interfaces with existing systems and provides at a click of a button a consolidated preliminary analysis package
- Build predictive tool/model that identifies and flags critical indicators (using a subset of key metrics/threshold levels) and underlying drivers (potentially using alternate data as well) to provide a more real time view.
Essential Qualification
MBA or Masters in Project Management or technical/quantitative fields or equivalent
Experience
Ø 1-3 years relevant experience in financial services industry
Ø Proven experience of leading teams and global client management
Ø Experience of supervising technical roles or projects, providing guidance on execution of technologies, and resolving challenges and issues during the projects
Skills
Ø Conceptual thinking and Problem-solving skills
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Experience with R programming and building interactive, user-friendly front-ends using Shiny, Knowledge of Python is a plus.
Ø Experience in SQL/PL-SQL, writing queries and RDBMS
Ø Well versed with handling large data sets on UI, and experience with sourcing and processing data sets as part of larger automation initiatives
Ø Experience in end-to-end model development cycle is an advantage - from data gathering and cleansing to the documentation, development, validation, stress testing - and making presentations to key stakeholders, maintaining minutes of key decisions
Ø Familiarity with quantitative risk models is an advantage
