A - Process Requirements
1. Identify, leads and drives complex sourcing projects across relevant business area
2. RFI / RFQ Management with in-depth analysis of RFQ’s, followup with suppliers and recommendations to commodity managers on the preferred sourcing solutions.
3. Execute best practice including standardization of RFX templates, standardization of bid analysis, development of project summaries, adoption of project management tools
4. Work as a subject matter expert /single point of contact for all e-sourcing/Ariba related issues from global stakeholders & Eaton suppliers
5. Develop commodity and supply base knowledge basis market trend analysis within the plastics / resins / metals industry
6 .Execute competitive bid events, monitor and report savings opportunities identified (WIP and executed). Lead discussions with appropriate stakeholders, present upcoming projects, recent accomplishments and potential risks to commodity managers and leadership team.
7. Review business requirements, be a part of category strategy, work on market intelligence to determine the appropriate suppliers to conduct sourcing buying activities
8. Develop measures of data quality, maintain metrics, and publish to stakeholders
9. Negotiation – Conducts first level of negotiations with suppliers based on the outcome of e-auctions.
10. Report Management – Generates and analyzes different reports for global commodity managers & leadership team
11. Deploy e-sourcing/Ariba tool globally across all Eaton businesses
12. Play an active role in implementation of a Procurement Digitization Roadmap B. Technical Competancies & Service Delivery Requirements -
1. 5 - 7 years of working experience in supply chain / manufacturing industries. Sourcing experience for additional commodities likeResins, Plastics is a plus.
2. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) for analytics and presentation
3. Good exposure to data analytics (Advanced Excel functionalities), process automations, macros, etc., power automate tools, Power BI will be an added advantage.
4. Ownership to drive and lead initiatives, CI mindset, digitalization outlook
4. Strong interpersonal skills to work with teams remotely, close coordination with cross-functional operations team to ensure closure
5. Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required

Qualifications

Qualifications -
a. Bachelors Degree (Preferably Mech Engineering) with 5 - 7 years of experience OR Masters with 3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing with categories like Plastics, Resins, Metals (Fe/ NFe), Stampings, Castings etc
b. Must be able to select suppliers based on Total Cost of Ownership, Should Cost
c. Functional knowledge of applications enabling strategic sourcing such as Ariba, SAP, and Oracle (I-Procurement) preferred
d. Should have Project Management skills and experience
e. Understands supply chain nuances & commodity strategies
f. Certification - Any certification in supply management like CPSM, CPM will be an added advantage. b.Excellent knowledge with MS office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project)
g. Expertise in e-sourcing tools specifically Ariba platform
h. Experience in spend analytics - Be able to create visibility into corporate spend, drive performance improvement, cost savings, contract compliance.
