About the ClimateRISE Alliance:


ClimateRISE Alliance is a collaborative platform anchored by Dasra that aims to build knowledge, consensus, and common outcomes with more than 100 civil society organizations working at the intersections of climate action and resilience for the most vulnerable communities. The Alliance's objective is to shape an India view, a common vocabulary, and enable a multi-stakeholder engagement approach on climate action in the country.

About the Role:


The Dasra ClimateRISE Team plays the role of the field catalyzer to bring together funders, think tanks, CSOs and sector experts. As a PMO, you will play a pivotal role in enabling seamless project management and ensuring sound financial management. This dynamic role combines responsibilities across program coordination, financial operations, and compliance. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, manage data and systems, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure adherence to organizational policies and statutory regulations.

With 1-3 years of experience and strong management skills, you will be accountable for tracking the project outcomes and streamlining the activities of diverse verticals under the ClimateRISE Team. Bringing in strong data and financial management skills, a PMO Analyst in the ClimateRISE Team will be responsible for bringing efficiency to the processes, operations, and quality of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Program Management and Coordination:Optimize team systems and processes for effective program delivery and seamless project execution. Drive excellence in delivery of the multiple project tasks allocated Track and manage data across Salesforce and other systems, ensuring timely updates and accuracy. Generate clear reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.


2. Financial Management and Compliance:Maintain accurate financial records, and ledgers. Review vendor invoices and expense reimbursement requests for compliance with policies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the organization's purchase policy. Manage accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Provide financial support for donor, funder, and regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including FCRA, GST, and income tax regulations. Support internal, statutory, FCRA, and tax audits, compiling information as required during assessments or scrutiny. Resolve queries related to invoice payments and other financial processes raised by internal teams.

Collaborate with program teams to align financial planning with project goals and priorities.

Desired Qualifications and experience:

Graduate or postgraduate with a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience; development sector experience with a focus on research and analysis, data sciences, Microsoft excel skills, consulting, finances, knowledge management and multi-stakeholder engagement Consistently meets deadlines, effectively manages own time across several complex projects and identifies/resolves conflicts or roadblocks independently Brings strong structure and organization to written and verbal content and is able to put forth points in a clear and concise manner Prioritizes, structure, and organizes information effectively, using spreadsheets or simple data analysis tools where needed, and ensuring adequate depth and breadth of perspectives. Draws accurate insights from gathered information Passion for the development sector and the communities we serve Has the ability to work with great agility in an environment with ambiguity
