Job Title:Analyst - Ops FinanceSummary: Momentive Business services provides support services such as IT, Finance, HR support, Business Services etc. across MPM.Global Finance Team (GFS-BLR) provides range of Finance support services such Controllership, Business/Ops. Support, FP&A, Treasury, Credit & Collection etc.The incumbent of this role will be part of Global Finance Services Team and will be responsible for timely execution & delivery of commitments as per the roles and responsibilities defined, to meet expectations of our functional stakeholders. The candidate should display a great sense of accountability, ethics at work and be willing to take over additional responsibilities from time to time.Responsibilities Include:Tasks and responsibilities of the position:Align self with Senior Leadership long & short term strategy and work towards making it a realitySupports in operations finance processes analysis and variance analysis.Support periodic business closing, Statutory books close & reporting for plantsAnalyze monthly performance vs AOP, v prior year and support monthly forecast for operations function.Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal Momentive financial policies.Support finance initiatives across the businesses by facilitating the brainstorming of ideas, establishing a rhythm around the execution of these ideas, the measurement & reporting of progress made.Advise and provide inputs on manufacturing costs, product costing & pricing proposals to operations & commercial teams.Supports in preparation of AOP / annual budgeting process.Responsible for preparing working papers and annexures for Cost audit.SPOC for internal audits happens at the site.Supports in ROI and payback analysis for the investment decisions in the region.Support tax compliance workings (GST) for the incoming materials/purchases, filing returns as per the stat partnering with tax consultants.Responsible for inventory valuation for the balance sheet for the region.Responsible for stat audit workings and annexures, works closely with stat auditors.Responsible to co-ordinate with inter teams for collation of data and filing ASI returns.Monthly preparation of CTM and CTS and drive the site team to understand the variances.Responsible for GST compliance on purchases, responsible for GSTR monthly reconciliation.Works closely with GST consultants to finalize the GSTR annual return.Accounts payable exposure point of contact at the site to ensure the GRIR closure.Product costing and relevant workings.Responsible to reconcile monthly and yearly low value asset for the region including BangaloreDrive self towards building standardized processes within the Sector operations finance to ensure Companywide consistencyDrive Lean in Operations Finance projects/reports through POU event (CI) : use of automation, TABLEAU etcCommitment to growth, professional development, and work-life quality by managing prioritieDecision Making Authority:Low to mediumKey Metrics Role is Accountable For:This role is responsible for providing operations financial analysis and financial reporting for the Regional Ops finance team.Work closely with site management to produce budget & periodic forecasting, input and oversight of the costs, and expenses with expectations to proactively develop and manage key stakeholder relationships within the global business.Key Relationships:South Asia Ops Fin Leader, Operations Finance Manager, Operations/ Business Leaders, Commercial Leaders (need based), ITTravel RequirementsYes- 5%to 10%Basic Qualifications:6-9 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in costing and manufacturing accounting; knowledge of costing systems, cost standards and Indian statute/compliance.Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.Excellent communication skills; flexible and cooperative.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to work in SAP enabled environment.The ability to think conceptually and strategically while maintaining a long-term view.Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environmentService mentality, Proactive & problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of manufacturing finance & standard cost accountingDemonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality outputOpenly communicates and keeps stakeholders informed; delivers very few surprises.Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverablesBe a catalyst and champion for new improvements that will drive systemic solutions to business issue.Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledgeCore Competencies:Please select the relevant core competencies for this role; referStrategic Focus & Direction\xe2\x98\x92 Focusing on the Customer\xe2\x98\x92 Increasing Global Effectiveness\xe2\x98\x92 Furthering Business KnowledgePersonal Leadership\xe2\x98\x92 Embracing a Safety Mindset\xe2\x98\x92 Engaging\xe2\x98\x92 ChallengingTrust & Teamwork\xe2\x98\x92 Collaborating Inclusively\xe2\x98\x92 Providing Feedback & Recognition\xe2\x98\x92 Communicating EffectivelyAchieves Business Results\xe2\x98\x92 Applying Project Management\xe2\x98\x92 Executing\xe2\x98\x92 Making Fact-Based Decisions\xe2\x98\x92 Demonstrating AgilityQualifications:The following are required for the roleWhat We Offer:At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
