Designation - Analyst I - GIS

Primary/ Specific Responsibilities:

Process raw aerial imagery to generate high-quality geospatial products like Orth mosaics, DTM/DSM, and 3D models using photogrammetry software (Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D).
Perform geospatial data manipulation, including editing, digitizing, and analysis of vector and raster datasets using QGIS, ArcGIS, and Global Mapper.
Conduct quality control and assurance (QA/QC) checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
Prepare final map layouts, data exports, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage and maintain the organization of geospatial data within the company's database and file systems.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Assist in the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows for data processing tasks.
Provide technical support to project teams on GIS-related inquiries.
Collaborate with senior analysts to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize processing workflows.

Primary Skills:

Proficient in using photogrammetry software: Agisoft Metashape & Pix4D.
Strong hands-on experience with GIS manipulation software: AutoCAD, Civil 3d, QGIS, ArcGIS (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro), & Global Mapper.
Solid understanding of fundamental GIS concepts, including coordinate systems, map projections, and data formats (vector/raster).

Secondary Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding and working knowledge of Lidar Data
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
