Main Purpose:
Reporting to the Manager - Global Banking Operations & Customer Due Diligence, the successful applicant will work with team members based in Mumbai, as well as internal colleagues worldwide, to handle the Bank Accounts for all the Group companies.
The core duties are the timely receipt and response to incoming request from internal departments to open / close / update the bank account. To handle end-to-end process from collaborating closely with bank till the account set-up or removal from internal systems and e-banking platforms.
The successful applicant will work closely with the various internal teams (Treasury / Master Data Management / Finance / Human Resource) to assist with the required bank accounts in internal systems and banking services required to operate group company bank accounts and collaborating closely daily with other group employees across the world.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience as a Banking Officer, gained ideally with a financial institution, bank or other large multinational company or organisation.
Familiarity with the Banking knowledge and operations of the bank account via SWIFT services (MT101 / MT940) as well as standard requirements of Banks in the global regulatory environment
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally in a global environment with colleagues based worldwide.
Being respectful for confidential information
Ability to handle timing pressure
Ability to work independently and to self-manage a full workload of changing priorities.
A practical, 'Can do' demeanor and ability to produce quick solutions is needed.
Proficient English, both written and spoken, is required; other European languages are desirable but not essential
Familiarity with online applications and databases is desirable but not essential
Familiarity with standard MS Office computer software and using online resources is important
Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed

Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the administration and management of all group company bank accounts and user access on E-banking portals.
Establishing SWIFT connectivity (MT101 / MT940) between banks and Trafigura via third party SWIFT service provider.
Collaborating closely with internal group functions (including Global Banking and treasury) as well as Banks.
To handle documentation for account opening / account closing / E-banking / SWIFT services from banks and ensuring the completeness and collating signatures accordingly
Master data management of all the bank accounts in multiple internal systems.
Maintaining accurate and proper records and overseeing document and record management and other administrative processes
Understand data structure, data interfaces and how data flows and transforms from source systems to the downstream systems
