About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven
FP&A Analyst
with expertise in
Opex management, headcount planning, and cross-country collaboration
to join our global Finance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting operating expenses and workforce planning, providing actionable insights, and enabling effective decision-making across regions. The analyst will be responsible for forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs.
What You Will Do
Own the India headcount planning process, including hiring forecasts, attrition analysis, and workforce cost modeling.
Partner with HR, IT, G&A, Marketing and other business leaders to ensure headcount aligns with organizational strategy.
Lead key financial processes, including forecasting, budget planning, performance reporting and others.
Reporting & Analysis about P&L statement analysis, variance to budget / forecast, market / industry updates, and others.
Collaborate with global stakeholders on expense optimization.
Work closely with US and international finance teams to ensure alignment on Opex and headcount assumptions.
Act as a trusted advisor to global business leaders, bridging India operations with US HQ.
Build and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to streamline FP&A processes.
Support and lead ad hoc projects to identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and define improvements to drive additional value for Magnit.
Detail orientated, with ownership and accountability for integrity of reports
Acting as a team player within Finance and across the organization is an essential trait that is necessary for success in the position
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant field.
5-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A/Corporate Finance / Strategic Planning / Analytics/ Headcount planning.
Strong understanding of OPEX, P&L management, and cost drivers.
Quantitative aptitude and experience in building scalable solutions and processes to solve problems, strengthen internal controls, provide scalability, and increase quality.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with reporting/forecasting tools (Power BI, Anaplan, or similar).
Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to partner with cross-functional global stakeholders.
