Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a \xe2\x82\xac29.8 Billion international wholesaler with operations in 31 countries through 661 stores & a team of 93,000 people globally. Metro operates in a further 10 countries with its Food Service Distribution (FSD) business and it is thus active in a total of 34 countries.

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), D\xc3\xbcsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. Scope of work - Majorly treasury role

Payments - * Apply proper checks and controls on the invoice.

• Timely payment to the vendors and recording of same in books.
• Accounting of Corporate credit card transactions.
• Owner of foreign vendor remittances.
• Process Form A1 / A2 for foreign remittances.
• Liaison with CA for issuing Form 15CB.
• Processing of advance payments and employee payables

Remittances - * Recording of Bank receipts

• Follow up for remittances with customer

Bank - * Liasoning with the bankers.

• Foreign exchange conversion to current account.
• Settlement of credit card payments
• Preparation of Bank reconciliations on monthly basis. For ICICI Bank and Barclays EURO Account.
• Monthly Cash flow Statement
• FDR creation, liquidation with Bank
• EDPMS closure with Bank, FIRC tracking

Monthly closing - * Passing month end entries in the system.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Document upload of ICF controls

Audit - * Providing the requirements of the statutory, Tax or other auditors related to Bank treasury & TDS & tax payments

Direct Tax - * Compute monthly TDS liability.

• Quarterly Filing TDS returns 27Q and 26Q
• Preparation of ETDS challans
• Issuing of Form 16A to vendors
• File correction statements for errors in the return.
• Regularly monitor the TDS defaults on the TRACES website.
• Making tax payments viz. TDS, PF, ESI, labor welfare fund etc.
• Form 26AS reconciliation on Quarterly Basis

STPI Compliances - * Preparation and updating Bond Register every month.

• Softex, SERF, MPR APR filing on monthly or annual basis.
• Any other adhoc STPI compliances

Qualifications

• B.COM / M.COM or MBA Finance with 3-5 years of experience in Treasury or allied Finance roles
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be self-motivating, hardworking, analytical, and proactive
• Must be Eye-for-detail, self-motivated, dependable & a team player
