Governance Analyst
Collect, analyze, test and report on quality assurance indicators that measure and monitor performance, risk, and adherence to standards and opportunities for TIAA's Strategic Initiative Portfolio. Develop dashboards, scorecards and financial reporting in line with the Enterprise Strategic Initiative Governance Policy. Support the Governance Lead by developing artifacts, standard operating procedures, and documentation as required. Provide proactive monitoring of strategically funded initiatives through quality assurance practices and ensure governance requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support processes, procedures, tools and templates aligned to TIAA's Enterprise Strategic Initiative Governance policy.
  • Consistently deliver quality assurance processes across the Strategic Initiative Portfolio, testing and providing feedback via reporting to key Line of Business stakeholders.
  • Ensure standards and controls are leveraged for strategically funded initiatives and that execution health metrics are monitored and escalated as necessary.
  • Liaise with Governance Lead, Line of Business (LOB) Planning Leads/Execution Leads to facilitate the quality assurance process, review quality standards, guidelines, tools and templates, etc.
  • Monitor quality and proactively provide recommendations to modify processes by applying a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint content in support of the Governance program.

Function Overview: TIAA India CAO team
The CAO and Chief of Staff, Managing Director, reports to the TIAA GBS CEO and Global COO for Client Services and Technology (CS&T). The CAO team comprises of Corporate Services, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Business Continuity Planning and the global EPMO - Enterprise Project Management Office. Some of these have global scope in addition to the local responsibilities. Current team size, employees ~ 35.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
