As part of the Finance team, you'll help shape Barclays' financial strategy through accounting, budgeting, financial forecasting, and analysis. Your expertise will support management, cash and debt management, and insurance, driving the financial health and success of the organisation.See your commuteJoin Barclays as Analyst - Cost Management role where to support in execution of end to end monthly financial close, performing aged accrual analysis, Vendor cost analysis, production of financials, flash, providing support in commentaries , executing APE amendments, Normalisation at AE levels , supporting FC & FBP in relation to any queries from auditors. At Barclays, we don't just anticipate the future - we're creating it.To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:Qualified CA / CMA / CPA / ACCA / CFA / MBA Finance from premier institute with minimum 1 year of relevant experienceCA Inter / Commerce Graduate with minimum 2 years of relevant experienceSome other highly valued skills may include below:Knowledge of SAP and understanding around Ledger hierarchyBroad understanding of Finance Business PartneringIntermediate to Advanced excel and Powerpoint skillsKnowledge of automation tools like AlteryxYou may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role is based in our Noida office.Purpose of the roleTo provide financial expertise and support to various departments and business units within the organisation by the gathering, analysis and interpretation of financial data to inform investment decisions, assess financial risks, and support strategic planning.Accountabilities

  • Evaluation of investment opportunities and potential risks through in-depth research on companies, industries and market trends, and preparation of investment recommendations and reports for investment committees.
  • Preparation of short-term and long-term financial forecasts to inform strategic planning and decision making.
  • Monitoring financial risks and provision of regular reports to senior colleagues and the board of directors.
  • Collection, analysis and interpretation of financial data to prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations conveying financial insights for stakeholders.
