Hybrid Working Structured hybrid role: At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, \'anchor\', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business. Introduction: . Produce periodical financial statements for entity including enrichments and commentaries. . Preparation of various management accounting reports. What will you be doing . Supporting the quarterly reporting process to ensure the appropriate level of information is captured to comply with all external and internal reporting requirements. . Assisting with design and implementation of new financial control and reporting process which meets the relevant requirements of the standard. . Balance Sheet control and commentary, Month End adjustments and Balance Sheet Substantiation. . Preparation of monthly Standalone reporting pack and review of key ledger numbers including revenue, cost, transfer pricing and taxation, challenge wherever applicable. . Ensure that a strong internal control environment is maintained at all times. . Attend to queries from internal and external audit and reviews and maintain key stroke documentations. . Identify and drive process re-engineering and constantly challenge current processes for improvement and efficiency. What we\'re looking for: . Good financial product knowledge . Experienced with MS office toolkit (Word, PPT and Excel etc). Skills that will help you in the role: . Work well within the team and portray high standards of team work. .
