As an Analyst, you will support business analytics and delivery activities required to develop, rollout, enhance and support the regulatory, compliance and reporting initiatives within Enterprise Data and Reporting Tech area
You will learn and grow with a fantastic team that will engineer, design, build, test and support applications for Enterprise Data and Reporting tech area. You will work closely with squad members to ensure outcomes meet customer expectations. This work will be aligned to toolsets/solutions that may involve an end-to-end process of sourcing and ingesting data into the Platform, and transforming the data for it to be consumed by other applications

What will your day look like
Looking for talented individuals with a strong analytical background with a keen eye for detail and desire to learn and grow as an Analyst/Data Analyst.
To succeed in this role, you require the ability to understand the needs of business stakeholders, identify useful insights, translate them into technical requirements and manage the implementation of solutions. You will have interest and skills in the transformation of raw data into meaningful business insights. You are also accustomed to the agile delivery framework.
Your primary responsibility will be to be aligned with a squad in delivery of data initiatives. In addition you will support the Tech Area in overseeing, managing and performing a number of duties to ensure smooth running for a well managed tech area.
Partnering with the Product Owner to validate requirements and priorities, ensuring alignment to value
Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with other squad and Tech Area members (e.g. Solution architects, Product Owner, Engineers, Release Leads, etc) to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of User Stories.
Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad
Uphold best practices around reviews, quality and documentation.
Drive continuous improvement within squad
Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders/product owners in Tech area to monitor and report adherence to Asset Lifecycle management, ADF framework, risk controls, patching status, cloud migration initiative, data compliance and other leading and lagging indicators as well as create and implement automated strategy for monitoring compliance.
Analysing, summarising, and creating reports/presentations from data and produce insights into the management of risks, issue, dependency and people planning. This may also require active monitoring and correction of these records in system.
Co-ordinate the timing and running of select Tech Area forums including Agile rituals, and help perform administration up-keep related to these meetings.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
High attention to detail and ability to operate without day-to-day direction.
Business analysis experience with understanding of data quality and data protection/privacy management practices is desired.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent hands on skills with software tools such as Powerpoint, Excel, Sharepoint, Confluence & JIRA is a must.
Experience in automating work processes and/or use data visualisation tools is highly desired.
Experience in requirement elicitation and requirement management.
Ability to effectively communicate to all stakeholders (technical and non-technical) is essential.
Familiar with the use of agile delivery principles.
Must be self-driven, and be able to navigate one's way around new tools and teams to gain the knowledge required in order to perform your role end-to-end.
