About The Client:
A British multinational alcoholic beverage company, with its headquarters in London, England. It operates from 132 sites around the world. It is a major distributor of Scotch whisky and other spirits. Distilleries owned by Client produce 40% of all Scotch whisky with over 24 brands.
Essential Job Functions:
Service Delivery

• The team`s main objective is to provide global in-house banking services including cash management toclientsubsidiaries. Based on business priorities and considering sustainable workload the following accountabilities are allocated amongst the individual team members.
• Initiation of foreign currency and manual payments
• Manages the global inter company settlement process
• Provides accurate daily cash flow forecast to other Group Treasury functions
• Ensures that all bank, in-house bank and clearing account balances are reconciled on a regular basis
• Bank account management: daily bank statement postings, downloads, monthly GL reconciliations, managing queries within own area of responsibility
• Supports RTR Bank Operations Senior Analyst in SBM/Projects and Superuser tasks
• Continuously looks for and comes up with improvement ideas
• UAT support for project Voyager

Team Contribution

• Supports the Superuser, Senior Analyst, Control, Project and Migration owners.
• Ensures that controls are maintained across BOC Processes
• Ensures stability of the daily tasks of the Bank Operations Centre
• Provides daily support to Team Members
• Recognised accounting or treasury qualification, or local equivalent

Skills & Knowledge

• Experience of working with major accounting and reporting packages (e.g. SAP, Magnitude)
• Experience of working in financial / corporate banking related projects
• Good business English; able to effectively communicate with all the relevant parties
• Understands basic accounting policies and standards and has good
• technical accounting knowledge
• Strong analytical and spreadsheet moClienting skills; adopts a
• structured, logical, well-documented approach to their work
• Good knowledge of Excel macros and Access

Experience

• 2-5 years experience of working with finance dept of a multinational company or bank experience in working with an integrated software (SAP)
• Good understanding of bank account management processes, intercompany
• funding tools
• Recognised accounting or treasury qualification, or local equivalent (B.COM , MBA Finance )
